Remember Tamagotchi? Remember Pokemon? This was neither, but pretty close. Made by Bandai and a "boy branding" of Tamagotchi, the Digimon Virtual Pet (V-Pet) line was introduced! Maybe you had one as a kid or saw it in the Digimon World Playstation game and always wanted one. Maybe you're one of my friends who had theirs "poop to death". Maybe you've been following the Digimon virtual pets and are a master tamer? I admit, I had a D-3 Digivice as a kid, but not much else. I dabbled in collecting various V-Pet versions through the 2000's, namely looking to raise that much wanted Gabumon, but even then my Version 2 died on me fairly quickly and I had no one to battle with. How does the 20th Anniversary V-Pet compare? Let's take a look.

Sometimes the collecting bug has got us good. You look around and wonder: did I collect too much? Maybe I was a little hasty in purchasing that scale figure... Or maybe you don't love a specific part of your collection anymore? Heck, maybe you just need to pay the bills with your investment.
How in the world do you decide what to let go? I've got a few tips that should help cull the herd! One of my personal go-to's for Japanese snacks has always been gummies. You can often find Kasugai Gummies at conventions and your local food stores. Japanese fruit snacks tend to have way more flavor than your typical American gummy and a really worth the price!
I've ordered things like Pocky and what's often called a "biscuit" or "wafer", usually bundled with trading cards, before and I've never been disappointed! Will these hold up to the hype of other Japanese snacks? So what are these Digimon Adventure gummies like? What do they come with? Let's find out! |
